When a borehole breaks, a whole community goes back to unsafe water. Repairing it is one of the fastest ways to change daily life.

When a borehole breaks down, the families who depend on it have to walk further, queue longer, or go back to unsafe sources such as open ponds.
Our WASH team works with community members to rehabilitate broken hand pumps and build protected water points, and to train local people to maintain them.
Solar-powered systems with elevated storage tanks mean water can be pumped without fuel and stored for when it is needed most.
